My laptop is still not here. It was shipped on the 26th of last month. It no longer even has an estimated receiving date anymore. I called today and was told they will do a trace of the package and will call be back in 24 hours.

I called apple and they said it would take up to 3 days. They asked if I would like a replacement if they can not get this one to me and I told them that would be fine. is there anything like a discount or a free piece of software they can give me for my inconvenience?

It's in the hands of FedEx now, I'd call them instead, since Apple has no power in what FedEx does and its not their fault. Though it's taking quite a long time, I'd call FedEx to see whats up, usually such a package would take 5 business days at max.
Well, at least it isn't DHL thats used for shipping it hahaha. -
I already called fedex yesterday and today. yesterday they told me it would be here today and it was near chicago. Today they told me that information was not correct and they do not know where the package is anymore.

Update! package has been found! It has been at the sorting facility, but they could not tell me if the package was damaged or anything. I'm hoping everything will be alright with it and I get it in perfect condition later today.
