For some reason in Lion, my internet reception is much better.

When using Snow Leopard my internet would barely work, and the signal would fade often.

When I switched to Lion the connection is solid, and i haven't changed location.

Is there something in Lion that makes the connection better??

It is the same mojo they sprinkled in the iPad and iPad 2, those magical devices. From the sites I have read (regarding the developer preview of OS X Lion), none of them have mentioned better wi-fi reception (I assume that is what you are talking about). They all seem to focus on the new gestures, application view, performance increases (as in running faster), etc.

Well, Snow Leopard was only $30 but that was more of updates that weren't that observable by the common end user. OS X Leopard was more of a big change compared to Snow Leopard. I think that is one of the reasons why the "Leopard" name was carried through and why Apple charged so little for it. I believe Apple charged $130 for Leopard so that might put things into perspective. I hope that Apple continues with the $30 price as that was one of the reasons why I made the switch. I just can't afford spending $100+ for every Windows release.

$130 probably.... though they might do like last time and have a big pack for like 160, or a special OS only upgrade from 10.6 for $30. No one knows for sure though since the haven't announced any pricing.
