Yeah Apple joined with BAPco, which is a benchmarking company for the windows operating system, its quite obvisious that Apple is only working with them to see if they can ensure their hardware is up to par with PCs running XP in terms of benchmarks, anything they are doing is probably only for BootCamp. I seriously doubt its anything more than that.

Being an actual linux user with experience with wine, wine sucks majorly, and can't do jack with anything. Now if there were talks about Apple and Cedega, then you should get excited, but I doubt that would happen.

I'm alreadying running several games natively on my MBP under Windows. So far I have not had any problems in terms of graphic performance or system issues. I have update the ATI to the latest Omega drivers.

That does sound interesting, I would have thought they would be happy just integrating Boot Camp into the system and let Parallels do their thing. But this is all rumours yet, we will see.

I'm running 2 older, less graphics intense games: StarWars KOTOR 1&2

And I'm running 2 newer and more graphic intense games: WOW, Ghost Recon and Half Life 2

All of them are running pretty well and I have it set out to my Dell 24" LCD through DVI at Med-High setting, letting ATI drivers take care of the anti-aliasing.
