I'm getting ready to upgrade my memory on my C2D MBP. I noticed Macsales has OWC modules for sale, specifically 2-2gig chips (4 gigs total) for $95 US. Trouble is, I don't know what kind of quality this company has and wondered if anyone in this forum has had any experience with them? Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks.

well my experience is that on the mac pro I ordered 8gb from OWC and it showed errors and I just got my money back (had to use my own money to ship as well).
Right now I have 16gb of ram on the mac pro ordered from transintl and works fine with no ecc errors or any other kind of errors either.
But for mbp I order from crucial and works perfect all the time. -
I just ordered last month for my MBP 2-2 gb sticks (4 gig's total) from macsales.com. The Ram worked perfectly and a month later still no complaints

G. Skill (PC2-5300/5400) RAM works perfectly in Mac portables. The PC2-6400 RAM will not work however.
Newegg.com carried a lot of brands and has really good prices -
I have 4GB of Mac Pro RAM from OWC, and it's working dandy. Perhaps one of your sticks was bad?
Transintl has better pricing though, and nicer looking heatsinks (Not that it matters too much, but they look like they do a better job). -
4GB of RAM from OWC in my iMac, since about November last year - flawless

Thanks for all the input. I just ordered some PNY from NewEgg for not too much more. I know that brand and trust it as I've used it over the years with no problems.
Of course, anything can go wrong with anything, but I think I'll have a pretty good chance on this.
Thanks again. -
Now if only Mac Pro RAM can start dropping in price... I'd like another 4GB.
OWC ram quality
