    Ok... Why won't my keyboard light turn on?

    I never use is, but wanted to turn it on right now since it's pretty dark. However it won't turn on...? When I press the buttons the icon comes up but with a "blocked" symbol under it. How can I get my keyboard lights back?!

    make sure to check in the keyboard settings that illuminate keyboard in low light settings is turned on.

    also, a good way to test this is covering up the speaker vents to block any light coming it.

    Yea they wont turn on if the room is bright.

    So you can either turn out the lights, or cover the sensor to bring them on.

    weird, covering it didnt turn them on. Turned off the light and they did. I thought I was able to control it even in bright light before....

    ok I see what was going on. I was sitting elsewhere before, not directly under a lamp, haha.
