    Hi!

    I am trying to set my pictures folder (and folders inside) to open it in thumbnail. Is there a way to do it automatically without changing all the other folder (such as documents, movies, music and etc..) ?

    cause i find it annoying having to change the view mode from list to thumbnail everytime i open a pictures folder.

    Hope it wasnt too confusing, thx!

    i dont remember exactly ... ahmm... but in the pictures folder... right click on any white space... there will be an options option...
    you should be able to configure the thumbnail viewing option for your pictures folder there.

    Sorry for being so vague.. not sitting in front of my mac right now and it's been a long time since i last configured one of my folders... i think it's "view options" or something...

    ohh.. and don't apply changes for "all folders and files" ....

    Select folder- properties- customize- from there you can change.

    Properties? I don't see that.. am i supposed to right click the folder?

    i tried changing it to thumbnails, but then when i go to music, it also changed to thumbnails, and when i set to list and i go back to pictures folder, it is a list again.

    and im using right-click -> View -> thumbnails/list

    i know its the wrong way.

    I am using XP, yep you need to select the folder - right click properties - customize - choose first option from there you can change setting.

    Go to the folder you want changed and switch to the view you want. Hold in Cmd and press J, and check the box at the very top in the dialog that comes up.

    Just the one folder you're currently in. Although you could set it as default so that every time you view any folder in said view will look the same.
