Hey all!
I've been contemplating getting a Macbook Pro, both for office use, graphics design and gaming. Im a PC user, so ive been doing most of the work on the PC, but I am thinking of switching this month.
I need a laptop that I can use for everything, and can bring around different places although it usually would stay in one spot.
I was wondering about gaming on the Macbook Pro as I like to play the new games that are coming out this year and in the future. Hence I was wondering if anyone had any experience playing PC games on Bootcamp and are there any known issues, especially for the newer games?
I hope someone can help me with thisHope to hear your opinions on this.
Thanks,
Cheeyang

The performance on Windows is as it's best. There is no downside in performance.

As Fade To Black said, it will run as well as any Windows notebook with similar specs. The gaming performance is acceptable, just remember that it is a notebook, not a desktop.

I still find it a little funny that Apple is advertising Macs as "Gaming Hardware". Accordingly, the MBP is a "Road Warrior". And that's under Mac OS X.
Windows & Boot Camp do work well for Gaming. You will want to get updated Graphics Drivers from LaptopVideo2Go. Read the QuickStart Guide and follow the instructions for XP or Vista. Make sure you download and replace the Modded INF. There is also a wealth of knowledge in The Mobile Graphics Card Info Page created by Chaz.
