Hi guys,
I have windows 7 installed on bootcamp and am considering on going for PD. Just a quick question, compared to bootcamp, does the core temp of the computer increase when running PD since its running both OS simultaneously? If so, to what degree does it actually heat up on average?

anytime you put more work on a processor, it will get hotter, and use more power...
Just booting up a VM with an OS isn't going to be a drastic difference if its sitting idle, but just like always if you start doing a lot of stuff in it and its using more CPU, its going to get hotter and hotter... -
Thanks for the reply

I dont know about heat as I was using paralells on my mini, but some of my windows programs did not work in the paralells environment. I have to load windows via bootcamp, I don't know how to do it, and i really dont have the time right now...but soon and evaluate my programs then.

Does parallel desktop make macbook pro 13 hotter than bootcamp? CPU n harddrive n stuff.
Parallels desktop (PD) - any issues?
