So I did a search, and couldn't really find what I was looking for.
Basically, I have an external 320GB WD hard drive. It is NTFS default, and I haven't changed it. I know that I can partition it using Disk Utility, but it wants to delete everything. I have like 80GB of data on the drive already that I don't want to delete, and I can't copy it anywhere else because I don't have enough drive space on any of my other hard drives.
I used to use GParted back when I used Linux to partition drives, and I know I could shrink and expand (and even move) partitions, but is there something similar for OS X? Or Should I just go ahead and use the GParted LiveCD?

probably use gparted. If it wasnt ntfs you could probably resize it, but i dont think you can do that with ntfs in osx.
Other option is to resize it in windows, using a variety of programs. -
mmm I re size all my HD with the ubuntu install disc...
Just boot from CD and select "manual installation", then you can re size all your HD (and you don't have to install it of course)... -
+1 for GParted
