Hi, I just got the macbookand I have a question.
I set my router to only allow my computers to connect to it (using physical address)
In PC, I find the physical address by going to ipconfig /all in command. However, I am not sure how to do this in OSX
Thanks![]()
NOTE: Physical address is also called MAC address I think..

It's pretty simple. Under the Apple on the top left of the screen click "About This Mac" then click "More Info...". System Profiler will open, then select the "Network" under "Contents". Make sure AirPort or Ethernet is selected in Active Services depending on what you are using, then scroll down until you see "MAC address".

There is no "Location" in the Apple Menu in Leopard. This information is still available in the Network preference pane and the Network Utility in Leopard, it's just organized a little differently.
Just use System Profiler as ltcommander_data suggests; it works for both Tiger and Leopard.
Physical Address?
