Thanks for the pics, Kaushal!
I have wireless MM for the kids. They are used to Apple mice and had no problem with them. I got pretty frustrated whenever I touched one so I saved myself a little money and went for a Logitech bluetooth mouse from ebay. One thing I found out later that surprised me was that there is a right mouse button on the apple mouse. Right click it and it pulls up the same menu you would get if you control-click a single button mouse. I stumbled across this setting preferences on their machines.
There are some pretty strong naysayers out there when it comes to Apple mice. I'm neutral and went with Logitech simply to save money. Thanks again for the pics! -
It's so cute, kinda looks like an actual mouse... too bad they tend to break easily..

I remember opening my MM, and how cool it was. Just make sure to keep the scrollball clean.
For me, it just stopped working every 5 minutes after a while, and since it was a gift, and warranty was up anyways, I opened up the thing and there was a huge glob of dirt inside which was kind of gross.

its a cool mouse but the logitech G5 is my fav.

Nice pics! Gosh I despise this mouse. Having to take your pointy finger off the mouse to right click cause the mouse only recognizes one finger at a time, the really annoying side buttons, the gunking of the scroll wheel, the input lag because of Bluetooth..
Just.... ugh! I'll keep my VX Nano thanks! -
I like it, but I wish it had 2 buttons!
-
Grats on the purchase, but personally I really don't like the Mighty Mice. I much prefer my VX Revolution! Such a lovely mouse...
But, again, that's preference - congrats! Nice pictures
-
nice... how much did you get it for?
-
Its a very nice and clean design...just like most Apple products. But its actual practical usage, I'm divided. I prefer the VX Revolution, although I can't get it (can't afford it)

i use the MS mouse for vaio and it works fine in macbook also....but i dont like 1 usb port being used by it..........so went for the blue tooth mouse.
i am pretty happy with how it performs
i'm glad u liked the pics
-
yeah it looks damn cute.......draws attention wherever i use it
is it that fragile??
-
any tips how to keep it clean??
In mumbai there is a lot of dust accumulation
even though u vaccum ur home daily......by evening ur entire laptop screen and desk is covered with fine dust
-
logitech is fav of most here it seems
i had 1 before.....then switched to MS mouse......but still i think my logitech was better.
as of now compared to MS, i think mighty mouse is better -
i dont face any input lag at all.........maybe i am lucky
-
it does have 2 buttons......infact 4
u can program it for right click when u press on right side -
thanks.........!! most of people here like logitech more.
only think i dont like in my mighty mouse.....that i cant use it with my vaio sz
where as my MS mouse works with vaio and mac both -
i paid Indian Rupees 3300 for it......so about US$ 82
-
whats are the shortcomings of it other than u can press left and right click together??
-
I don't know, it just doesn't...feel nice
. I find the scroll ball a bit awkward.

For me (at least in the beginning), rubbing the mouse upside down, viciously on a sheet of blank printer paper usually worked. Make sure to rub in all directions, to make sure you "clean" the ball on all sides. It's a temporary fix, but it works okay.

I really wish Apple would come out with a better mouse than the MM. As others have said, you cannot have your finger touching the left button if you want to right-click, but it also has a terrible form factor that is not comfortable to me. Even its best feature, the scroll ball, is notorious for needing regular cleanings in order to function properly.
However, my brother has the wired version and seems to like it so maybe I am in the minority. -

Of course, there are many things Apple could do to improve the MM, but I do have to say, for the first few months that I used the MM, I actually really enjoyed using it, I loved the way the scroll ball rolled under my finger, and I liked the shape of the mouse. I only started to dislike it once it needed frequent cleanings.
