I'm thinking I want to get a MBP, but I was wondering about this bootcamp thing. Will I be able to play the games I already have and use on my pc with bootcamp, or do I have to buy different versions?

You may notice performance issues, however, if your games are processor or graphics intensive.

A Core 2 Duo MBP will perform as well as any other similarly equipped PC notebook for gaming.

Eh? Not sure what you mean by this...

But yeah, install boot camp and windows, and you can play any game fine. I had Civ 4, Dark Messiah, and Oblivion installed. I need to reinstall XP and install the omega drivers.

The only game I play is Oblivion, and on my 2.33 Ghz MBP it does well. Check the screenshots:

First Obliv has you create your characters facial features and race; here are a few of the characters I created:

Great choice of weapons; heres a bow:

Different horses to ride; even a unicorn:

    Great looking graphics:

You play either first or third person at the click of a mouse; your choice.

Pretty much all I need to keep me engrossed in a virtual world for hours.

And yes, all of the above screen shots were taken from my MBP in Bootcamp using Windows XP.

Hey buddy, what mods are you using in Oblivion? Those wings look pretty sweet.
I wish I had like, some 8800's in SLI to play Oblivion with. Such a gorgeous game.

how many hours have you logged so far?
