    Hi,

Couple of days ago I spilt some pop on my macbook pro. I immediately turned the computer off and tried to clean it up as much as possible. There \ wasn't that much, maybe a splash at most. But, now a few days later the keys seem sticky and the back lit illumination isn't lighting up evenly throughout the keybard (even in areas that wasn't affected by the pop). So I was wondering does anyone have any suggestion on cleaning the keyboard? Is llumination for my keyboard going to be always un-evenly lit? Also if I was to take this to the apple store how much does a new keyboard run for. and will it void my warranty now that it's been tainted with pop lol? I've know like using non-conductive/rubbing alcohol/dist. water might help but where would I find these items besides the rubbing alcohol?

DO NOT use rubbing alcohol or water! Those will make your system even worse. If you use any kind of solution, use Denatured alcohol. Denatured alcohol does not have any water in it and will not harm your system any more than it already has. Sorry to hear about this!

Pop is soda. Bad news bears is just a phrase for something going wrong or that has already gone wrong.
