    Yea I saw one of these threads for XP/Vista, so decided to have one for OS X :)

    Nice desktop! The reason why the Windows forum has that thread is because the majority want to show off what they've done to Vista to make it look like and act like a Mac. :D I'll bet this thread will not have even one Mac desktop resembling Vista. ;)

    what about those of us that have many background on rotation? and also a side question that only slightly relates to backgrounds, i use firefox primarily and it automatically saves everything i open, for example a pdf to the desktop, or a torrent file and it makes for a very cramped desktop i have looked and looked but cant find how to edit this features, does anyone know?

    Firefox|Preferences|Main|Save files to -> Choose

    or 'Always ask me where to save files'

    Hmmm, on re-reading your question, what I suggested may not be what you're looking for. To change the actions of a file type try:

    Firefox|Preferences|Content->File Types (Configure etc.)->Manage...

    nah this still hasn't done it. the first idea making it ask before saving doesn't work and the above method only really affects whats going to open the file?? :confused:
