The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I've searched around the forums and haven't found anything quite close to the situation I am having. I just recently received a 17" powerbook (specs in my sig) and the screen flickers every now and then. It always does it when it first starts up at the apple logo when I move the screen. Then when it loads leopard it stops doing it. I took the LCD screen apart and none of the wires are getting pinched. Just confuses the heck out of me. :confused:
