    What would be a good fair price to sell a MBP with the following specs :


    2.16 Ghz Intel Dual Core Processor
    2.0 GB RAM
    256 MB Video Ram ATI Radeon X1600
    100GB @ 7200 RPM Hard Drive
    17-Inch Matte Screen
    New battery per recall
    Original Box and materials

    About $100...

    No really... $2000? New one is around, what? 2700?

    Was this the first release of the MBP or the 2nd version of the CD MBP? I don't remember if the 17" had the logic boards replaced or not...

    Ya, looks like a first-gen MBP with the Core Duo Yonah processors. I'd say around $1000 at best.

    I had one of those...bought it new for $1799 roughly 14 months ago (clearance)....i've also seen a few on craigslist. Based on what i've seen I'd say around $1200 - $1300. You may also want to check ebay to get a good idea as well.

    Dang? that low?

    There were 2 different MBP with Yonah (again, not sure if that applies to the 17" version). Not sure if anyone buying it would know that though.

    But dang, I'd hope for over 1/2 the price.

    Out of curiosity, why are you selling JDE?

    Thanks for the quotes everyone. It is a friend of mine, he is thinking of purchasing the new Penryn MBP. He will probably just keep it as there is not that *much* of a difference in performance between the current model and his model. God Bless :)
