i need to save this word doc, but i get this message, i have 150 GB available, and i've tried saving to an external disk and i get the same message, any ideas?
i don't want to lose my work![]()

print screen a bunch? try saving it as another file type...

Apparently this is a very common issue on mac, due to too many temp files -
Weird, never happened to me, but if it happens again, copy and paste the document into like an email, or text edit. That way you can atleast save a copy, and restart word.
Maybe microsoft will fix this in a patch or something. -

It happens to me sometimes too. I believe one of Microsoft's previous patches claimed to have fixed it but it still happens to me sometimes. I'm not very optimistic. I usually just end up copying and pasting to another document. -
yea, i just saw that it's word 2003. probably not at the top of their priorities right now.

I think the topic is mislabeled. I don't think Word 2003 has this problem. It's a Mac Office thing. The screenshot posted is from Word 2004, while I have the problem occasionally in Word 2008. -
