I have just bought a new WD My Passport to use specially with my Mac. I formatted it to HFS (Journaled) and can copy/more/delete anything on it just fine. But the problem is I can't edit anything, for example: when i open a MS Word file on this drive and do some editing, then save. This error message appears. I have over 200GB free and the permission is Read and Write. What should i do to solve this ? Please help me. Thank you so much.
PS: Is it because of "Journaled" ?

which passport do u have? essential, elite or studio? but i just read the user manual and it said the drive is preformatted to fat32, so i dont think u should've messed around with it, i don't even know what hfs is, but it should work with fat32 if u have osx 10.4.6 or later. if u can try reformatin to that

unless you have the studio which is already formatted for hfs, i suggest you don't format the other passport models to hfs, cause its not supported

This one is MP essential, but it was in NTFS when i received. It's not new, i bought from my friend because i want a cheap hdd to carry around (I have had 2 to backup data @ home already). The problem is that i can't save file after editing in Word 2008 for MAC. All other activities like copy, delete, move things are normal.
