This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I just bought a MBP and plan on using Win XP with bootcamp. I will need to use a dialup connection at times. I have read where there have been problems using a modem with Windows. Can someone tell me which is the best modem to buy with this setup? Is the Apple USB modem working or is it better to buy another type?
