This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just a quick question about apple refurbs. If I were to get one, am I going to find Joe Schmoe's documents and pics, or do they atleast reformat the drive and reinstall OSX fresh? (Hoping for the latter, and I'm sure they do, just covering my basis here).

    You won't find anything funny like that. They go through the whole thing, and make it like it never had a previous owner.

    If you managed to get something with somebody's documents, Apple could potentially be sued for that...
