i have a question about wireless mouse...

i use VX revolution with my Macbook pro.

i have this paranoid thought in the back of my mind that the wireless mouse could perform unintentional click because of wireless transmission error or what not....

another of my paranoia is when i put the macbook to sleep with the mouse, that it might unintentionally wake the system.

also, do every wireless mouse including apple's own mighty mouse wake the system (os x) from sleep if you move your mouse?

this is just my paranoia; anyone ever experience any problem with wireless mouse? any comment is appreciated :)

I'm using a MX revolution on my MBP at my desk. I've never experienced any unintentional click, ever. I don't really think transmissions errors happen. Possibly if you go too far away or something it doesn't read the click and skips it, but it shouldn't perform an unintentional click.

And yes, if you put it to sleep with the mouse on, when you move the mouse it makes it come back from sleep. Although on my MX the first movement you make on it doens't wake the system up, you have to shake it a few times for it to register when the computer is asleep.

how is that different from a wired mouse? I've been using my vx revolution for over a year now and have never had an issue with any of that.

    thanks liuman.

jnev, i tried various wired mouse with my mbp, the wired mouse will not wake the computer from sleep by moving the mouse, it will only wake the computer if you do a left or right click only.
