I thought it would be safer to give feedback in a new thread. I happened to be walking by an Apple store and asked about using Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro. They acknowledged that it is currently a problem, but a fix should likely be out in a month or so....
Believable?

win 7 works quite well as long as you use the current bootcamp 3 driver for the touchpad and ignore the rest and use drivers straight from Nvidia, Intel, etc.
Batter life sucks on any with the switchable 9400m/9600 video cards as the apple drivers/hardware like to force you to use the power hungry 9600.
will Apple optimize their drivers in a month or 2 ..... who the heck knows -
I use Windows 7 within a VMWare Fusion VM ona MB-Unibody with no problem, albeit no Aero effects are available.

Can you specify what are the problems that they acknowledged about Windows 7 on a macbook pro?
