Yesterday I took the plunge and bought a MBP. However there are a few things that I am unsure after doing some research on the web.
    1. Is there any way to sync a windows mobile based smart phone with a mac (if not does parallels support this)?
    2. What are the pitfalls of using parallels? Does it decrease the performence of your system (increase boot times etc)?

    Thanks

Get the Missing Sync for Mac to Windows Mobile synching:

Parallels wouldn't increase boot times, etc..... normally you don't have Parallels running all the time anyway..... you would launch it when you wanted to run a Windows app, etc. The only pitfall would be that it does use a lot of memory, but you should still be fine.

And you can always boot into Boot Camp (Parallels can use a Windows Boot Camp partition) if you need the full performance of Windows.
