I bought my blackbook last July and 3 times (on random occasion) the screen would just...screw up. I don't know how describe it, sometimes a chunk of the screen would just turn into a mess of gray and colored horizontal lines. When I move an adjacent window around, the gray/lines spreads around.

The dock's appearance remains intact but the top toolbar looks screwed up. it hasn't happened after using one particular program... help?

It sounds like there is a problem with your graphics chip. Time to call up Apple.

It sounds like a video card issue. Have you tried reinstalling the OS to make sure it's not just messed up?

How do you uninstall or delete drivers in OS X for video and re-install them?
