Whats this, a stretched screen 2g iPod? How mind-blowingly initiative!
-
Yeah, I think its the real one. The orange colour's a little weird though. But unless Apple's planting fake devices to throw us off, there's been too many cases, leaked images, leaked schematics, in my opinion.
I do note though, this "leaked photo" shows the standard iPod connector, and the first few cases showed no iPod connector spot, instead some sort of mini-USB plug. So inconsistencies there. -
I get the feeling that if no new features are brought to the table, this iPod isn't going to be a hit.
-
How the hell would videos be watched on this thing? Would you have to turn it sideways like with the Zune?
-
thats what it looks like.

not too bad in my opinion.
-
I like the orange.
I think that's a pretty safe assumption.
Well, I think about it this way... I think the Zune really needs a miracle to take off at this point... and this just might be it.
-
Yeah, it would be turning it sideways (I guess Apple could argue that you already do that with the Touch). I would say the main point would be getting a larger screen. A 2-inch screen for video just doesn't work that well (this could probably get 2.5).
-
The Touch is already great for video though... they should keep the Nano small and audio-centric. IMO.
Although maybe they're going for more of a budget video player... I guess that makes some sense, kinda. -
IMO it looks horrible and I think it will flop if its sold. I think that assuming that the ipod touch will get a price reduction due to the iphone then the nano's are gonna lose alot of sales.
-
It looks horrible. Nothing short of absolutely hideous....I thought the current Nano was kinda weird at first, but it kinda grew on me - this though, I mean, it really does look like a chinese knockoff....And turning the screen to watch video...GAAAAAAAAAAAH....At the very least, they could have made it a big screen like on the Zune. This is painfully bad, especially from Jobs.
I doubt it will flop though, its an iPod... -
awwwwwww..... i like the current ipod nano design the best. it is incredibly cute. hahahha! this one looks like previous generation of nano.

Is Jonathan Ive still in charge of all these designs? First the ugly trapdoor on the MBA, now this..... What's going on? Perhaps he's already past his prime.
This looks like the remote control for an old AC we had at school.... -
reminds me the previous gen ipod-when it was on,everyone hated it-but now it is very popular.and i like this <s>old</s>new design!
-
you know :3 I like iPods, I own one myself, but I cant see how these new models will make an interesting event, new redesigned laptops with true innovations would be "huge" and make an event, but not a new nano with video capability. :3
-
That's what I'm thinking about!
Where's the mini-USB?

This one is fake in my opinion. It just looks like they actually Photoshop-edly stretched the second generation Nano. The dimensions just aren't Apple-like in my opinion. The screen stretches a little too tall.
No to mention this one is packaged with the old iPod cable, which I see no reason Apple would bring back. -
Yeah, I agree, I think thats a fake also.
-
What do you mean old iPod cable? My iPod I bought a month ago has that style of cable (3g nano).
-
I think it's real, most of the leaks have been real so far as far as the older ipods go.
However, the bubbly screen looks like an old TV...ick.
