So I've had windows installed on my laptop for ages and long story short I never use it and would like to get rid of it because my hdd is tiny. Can anyone give me a simple explanation or link me to a quick guide on how to do this? Any help would be much appreciated!

Go to the Disk Utility, select your bootcamp partition, and then click erase in the "Mac OS X Journaled Format" and you should be good to go.

    1. Save anything you don't want to lose permanently from your Windows partition.
    2. Boot into OSX.
    3. Run Boot-Camp Assistant.
    4. Click the only option available in the box - Re-Merge my boot camp partition.

    Actually.....

1 - Run Boot Camp Assistant
2 - Click "Continue" on the first screen
3 - Select "Create or remove a Windows partition" and click "Continue"
    4 - Click "Restore"
