I messed up the screen bezel that surrounds my MBP's screen and I want to replace it. I have the Anti-glare model so I know that it will be easier than removing the glossy/glass screen. How hard is it to remove this thing?

Mine glass screen is falling off since the adhesive is failing. I brought it into an apple store and they basically tough luck since its out of warranty. You can heat up the bezel and pull off the bezel with suction cups.

I havn't seen the anti glare bezel sold seperately anywhere.

Here is a guy in a similar situation from a year ago. It doesnt say if he ever found what he was looking for.
Need Matte Screen Bezel - MacBook Pro 17" Unibody - iFixit

The photos of his anti glare screen without the bezel are actually kindof cool though. But that may not be the look you are going for.

I'll keep searching for ya. Maybe somthing will be found on ebay.

*Edit #1: I found this but for the 17"

if they are available for the 17" I'm sure we can find you one for your 15"

    *Edit #2: http://www.techrestore.com/mac/matte-upgrade.html

Techrestore makes their own bezel for 15" macbook pros. Contact techrestore and ask them if they will sell you their custom black bezel that they use when they perform a glossy to matte conversion on 15" MBPs

aftermarket macbook pro matte bezels are hard to come by and when they are found they are only for the 17" since 15" matte was only introduced recently. I think Techrestore's custom black bezel may be your best bet.

Thanks for the ideas. I just want to make sure I can take this thing off without messing up anything else.

appears that it is secured only by adhesive. you may have to heat the adhesive to prevent further damage to the bezel that you are removing.
