I can do the replacement... but what will happen if I need to go in to repair the computer in the future? Is there a sticker that can't be broken during disassembly that they will check or what? Also, do I need to get the same model as the screen that's broken?

there no stickers... There should only be one screen that will work in there, so yes.. you'll have to get the same model. in the future any warranty repair.. they should never know there was a change... unless its a warranty repair on the screen, then if they look close enough they might see its not their screen because legally they have no requirement to warranty a screen they didn't sell. They shouldn't void the whole machines warranty. If you actually pay Apple for the replacement screen (which costs a fortune compared to doing it yourself) they usually add it back to the normal warranty of the machine.

last couple I pulled apart had tamper stickers inside, you would have to disassemble CAREFULLY and look for them ..... good chance a screen swap will void the warranty if they ever looked inside the LCD housing for any reason

I think if you change anything besides the RAM or Hard drive it voids your warranty lol.

on most cases when they change the screen, they just change the whole top of the clamshell.
I have no idea if you can order just the LCD. -
the screen is typically not a "user-replaceable" part, so yes it would void the warranty.
