I have had a Macbook for exactly a month now. Am I inelligible for a return? Will they not give me a refund? Or must I pay some sort of restocking fee? Was is this fee, and how much will it cost? Will I be able to return my laptop? Also, I upgraded the RAM myself to 2GB, but I still have the 1GB that came with it, so I guess I would return it with the 1GB.

Well, I think Apple's policy is 14-days return/exchange if an issue comes up...so I don't know. Most likely there would be some sort of restocking fee; usually restocking fees are 10-15% of the product's price (so $100+ for a MacBook).

Yes, take out your 2 GB RAM and put back in the stock RAM.

Best to take it to the Apple Store and ask.

Why do you want to return your Macbook after a month of having it? I would definitely put the original 1GB of RAM back into it before returning to Apple.

depending on the stocking fee, you might be able to get more for it on ebay or another site like that.

So I will definitely be able to return it? I don't mind the restocking fee. And I've never done anything on Ebay, and don't really plan to.
