I use Firefox exclusively on Windows, but on OSX it's just not as efficient (higher CPU utilization causing faster battery drain) as Safari. What I love about Firefox is when I open a new tab, and then close that new tab, Firefox returns focus to the tab it opened from regardless of how many tabs are opened.

In Safari, it always opens new tabs to the far right on the tab bar. When that new tab is closed, it returns focus to the tab to the immediate right of the tab that was closed, instead of the original tab from which the new tab was opened from.

Is there any way to make tabs in Safari behave the same as Firefox?
