Hi, just curious if anyone has had any issues with Safari 3 on the Mac side? I have read some of the Windows forums and of course people are saying about security flaws and crashing. I have a G5 desktop and Safari 3 works flawlessly for me. I'm wondering if Mac users really got the beta? Since Safari has been on the Mac since the beginning I'm just suspecting if it was just an update for us?

Not sure what you're asking exactly.

It's the same Safari 3 as an app; the Windows version is a port of it, and did have some security holes, etc. that were specific to that port.

It's not surprising that the beta of Safari 3 for Windows is going to have more crashing, etc. though as it's the first time its debuted on Windows..... on OS X it's a much more mature app, relatively speaking.

Well, basically what I am asking is do we (Mac users) actually have the beta as well. Jobs said this was the leopard version but it's available as a beta download. Because I have had zero issues with it and I noticed the scrolling is much better now in MySpace I wondered if it's really a beta? I generally don't like installing beta software but I had to try it and it works great. I just wanted to know other Mac users experiences with Safari 3.

Yes, it's still a beta. It's just not likely to be as raw as Safari 3, which involves a lot of hairier things (including Core Foundation libraries Apple has ported over to Windows to make it work).
