Running leopard now, and it seems Safari is far from ready.
The first problem I've noticed is that when I go to hotmail.com or press the hotmail bookmark which takes me directly to my inbox, nothing happens. Well, not nothing actually. No page loads for a good half a minute, and the only thing that happens during this time is the address in the address bar keeps changing from http://login.live.com/?id=2 to http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/sbox? to https://login.live.com/login.srf?id=2&lc=1033 to t=9b7sXkCgtFDWVGcZG2h6hemg9tH!GU3QrvofjUhb8Q4MGxT40CI3SHkyV1*tAErOSBp4zQGMmeW1hVTGM2BDZWnGij9Fja5!nk7hnPncbcGmS6sL!7fEjYEuqFGGRwZFeJ&p=9gZ4*hyIZA0tDkPvcOaTUoXqSTxPvF7SnboZV12u5!7v7CwJ2y8uHJtAnyAS3*2EYfDGiP5MQzwp764PDsW38N1oe0UViJe5xQ4*LtmRhE0F5C0hJVLBYaJkL3XUT1ZkIDlnNZrkknjtLq11xzjFoyV0tANT6furXIPssEBAyVcl24JPZUI4OXM62cDZY1C7Kk&lc=1033&id=2 and another address, then it goes back to the first one. and the same thing is repeated over and over again for 30 seconds, then I get this at the end:
Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:
This site may be experiencing a problem.
The site may not be a member of Windows Live ID.
You can:
You can sign in or sign up at other Windows Live ID sites and services, or try again later at this sit
BUT IT WORKS on firefox. Loads up nice and quickly.
HALP?

Yeah, I get that too. I've been wondering myself.
What I find solves this "problem" (not sure who's end this problem comes from), is don't check "Save my email address and password" when you login. I find then it doesn't happen anymore. -
Ooh that's not a reallly good solution. Goddamnit, how hard is it to get a browser right after months of beta testing?
Another problem: Sam, your post (above) just shows up in 1 line! So the box which I'm tyiping in, i had to scroll half the way horizontally to get to it. It's not like this on other threads, this is the first time I've seen this. -
That's because you posted a link, which is one consecutive (no spaces) line of characters, and stretched the entire page
. Nothing wrong with Safari, this happens in any browser. Your link stretched the page.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...! thanks

Same thing happens to me... although not on a regular basis. I usually just clear the cookies once in a while and it's fine.

I'm pretty sure it isn't sarfari's fault.
I get the error quite a bit, and switch to firefox, and it still doesn't work for me. And it happened to me even before the update.
Unless of course I'm doing something wrong...
But I'm pretty sure it's Hotmail itself. -

no I'm pretty sure it's safari. It works in camino, omniweb, and firefox.
