    Hey guys,
When I get my MBP (2.4) what is the max safe temp. that I can use the graphics card at? I would like to overclock it with coolbits in XP. What is the max temp. I should get too before I start to worry? 80-90 C?

Does Coolbits work with the 8 series cards? I thought you had to download nTune from Nvidia to overclock 8 series cards. Anyway, just don't let the graphics card go above 90C just DON'T. In my experience, while computer components can be rated as high as 125 degress Celsius, they start to incur permanent damage starting between 95-105 degrees Celsius, based on part quality. Preferably, don't get into the high 80s, try to max out in the low 80s. What you should try is heavy gaming and record the max temp of the GPU and then allow for MAYBE 2-4 degrees more Celsius. Also, make sure you have the fans set on MAX when overclocking and testing to be safe.
