I bought one of these for my parents' anniversary, but after setting it up for them I bought one for myself also. It was on sale, but they had an open box for 40% off so I got it for about $280 bucks...and it was only on display for week or so.

This monitor is amazing...I can't wait to hook it up to my new PC build in a couple months. This is my first 1920x1200 monitor and I will never go back to a 22" 1680 x 1050.

THe light on the monitor is very natural, moreso than my MBP, where the colors are extremely warm compared to the screen.

It also comes with a built in USB hub with 3 builtin USB ports, which is great because the only thing that plugs into my MBP is the mini display port and the master USB from the monitor. Mouse, keyboard can go into the monitor.

i used wuxsga on a 24 inch monitor at school and I dont see there is a significant improvement over the wsxga+, not to mention the cost of a 24inch monitor over 22 inch.
BTW, my friend have this monitor and is pretty amazing.

I'm not too sure about the differences, but I do know IPS is *supposed* to be better, but it all depends. ;)

i'm sure the specs are nice.. but thats one ugly monitor... looks like one of those old fashioned ones where they tried to always make the LCD monitors look like CRT monitors from the front.

The people complaining about the monitor bezel are disappointed there is not an Apple logo on it.

you shouldnt worry about getting a higher-quality panel. unless you're a graphics professional, TN is all you need. in fact, the large majority of all LCD monitors out there are TN panels. samsung makes some of the best ones and the T260 is no exception. good work on getting a nice deal :)

Congrats; that's an awesome price - they usually sell for well over $400CAD. Samsung is apparently discontinuing it but this is one of the better TN panels out there.

I saw one in person hooked up to an HP Firebird 803 and the setup was stunningly good.
