Greetings!
I have a relatively new install of bootcamp (latest drivers), and I find the two finger scroll to be way to sensitive in Vista (I know it lacks the momentum scrolling feature, so that's not it). The only place i can find to make adjustments is under Mouse in the controll panel, where I have set it to the least sensitive setting.
I have read the driver for bootcamp 1.4 was a lot better in this regard, although lacking horizontal scrolling. I think I could live with that, but I cant seem to find that driver.
Or is there some third party software around? Can even a Synaptics driver be installed? I know Synaptics work with Alp pads.
Thanks in advance for your thoughtfull replies![]()

Well, here is a link with to the latest version of Bootcamp for a 64-bit release of Windows. You can even use Apple's software update program and I think it will download the latest version of bootcamp as well.
I am pretty sure you can't use Synaptics' driver and I haven't come across many third party software tools that I could get to work so somebody else will have to point you to one of those.
I can tell you that the sensitivity is pretty bad in Windows 7 x64 and it has to do with poor Windows driver implementation on Apple's part. Even if the sensitivity is fixed, the performance of the trackpad in OS X is stellar and I don't think it can ever be topped in Windows even after a large amount of tweaking. -
Thanks for the link and reply, kornchild. Those are the drivers I have on, I'm afraid. Looks like I'll have to get a bluetooth mose then
Cheers! -
yea every install of bootcamp ive ever used has had crappy scolling. im shocked they actually added right mouse click for bottom right hand corner of the trackpad. They are so stingy with their windows drivers its a shock they did anything at all.
