I've been using NeoOffice instead of the Microsoft suite and it automatically set itself as the default player for powerpoints and spreadsheets. However, all the text documents want to open in TextEdit instead. How do you set NeoOffice as the default editor for docs?

Get Info -> Choose the app you want down the bottom -> Set for all these types of files.
