Shipping b/w Today and Friday!!!!

My brand new (and my 1st!!!) mac is shipping b/w today and Friday (hopefully today!!!!). I got the standard configuration of the 2.4 ghz macbook pro and I'm PUMPED!! Sorry for posting a new thread but I had to release my excitement somehow!

It still hasnt shipped yet :-( !!! Come on Apple send me my tracking number, I dont think I can wait any longer!

 

I remember playing the tracking number game. Once I had it, I turned the tracking page into my home page....and I would check it every 30 mins.

Glad that's over and done with.

I just started dancing in my office when I looked online and saw "Prepared for Shipment"...YIPPEEEEEEEE

 

Now I know what to look for when I check my order status... groovy. I'm also a first time Mac user. The hardware I'm confident about, but its Mac OSX Tiger that I'm wondering how easily I will adapt to it. Time will tell.

dbam, about adjusting to Mac OS X some books are pretty good, and I (in my usual fashion once again ) recommend two articles that really help in transitioning to OS X. Hope it helps!

I ordered mine on July 13th and today it is prepared to ship! I'm hoping for Friday, but it will probably get delivered on Monday. I'm dying to make the switch!

 

What model did you get? 15" or 17"? and did you get the 7200 RPM drive?

 

I ordered the 15-inch 2.2Ghz with default configuration. So yeah, the 120 gig 5400 rpm hdd.

 

Does anyone know how long after it says "prepared for shipment" it actually ships?

 

And does anyone know how long it takes to move from the "Not yet shipped" to the "Prepared for shipment"?

 

I ordered on July 10th and got the 'Prepared for shipment' early this afternoon EST.

 

Oh wow, thats nearly a 2 week wait and it still hasn't shipped out for you. I'm in for a wait then too.

 

I got a confirmation this morning that it shipped!!! Im sooo excited!!!!
