Hi! I'm planning to buy a laptop on or before Christmas,,
Will be using it mostly for Graphic and web design, authoring, and occasional video/sound editing.![]()
I've been researching nonstop, reading forums and everything to help me decide ... So far, I've still got MBP13", UL80VT, and U80V to choose from.. but just earlier, someone offered me a really tempting sweet deal for a 13" MBP!
I am almost convinced to take the bait, coz I want to try and experience OS X if it will be my last resort...
the only thing holding me back, is this question...
How do you protect your Mac from potential malwares, Trojans, viruses, etc..?
I know many Mac enthusiasts often say that more often than not, Macs don't get viruses, but I've read many articles and seen many evidences that no OS is completely invincible from these threats. Is there a proper, or rather some effective means to protect your Mac from these threats, as with Windows?
Seriously, I'm halfway on making up my mind to take that really good MBP deal being offered to me, but I just dunno whether I'm better off purchasing the Asus when comparing Security Issues...
And do you guys think that an MBP is suited for my needs?
Please help!
Thank you so much!![]()
