just in today for those who missed this news

^^^It was misinformed from what I heard though.

Meh.. I'm just hoping it is tomorrow or Tuesday.. My Intel X25-M 80GB G2 should be coming some time next week.. The first thing I do will be replacing the HDD with the SSD..
-
but they may not give you proper technical support. that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. usually, though, they only give you a hard time if you switch to an "unsupported" operating system, which wouldn't be an issue with Apple...unless you were calling in asking for help with your Bootcamp'd copy of Win7. lol.
something to keep in mind for future reference. -
Unless Apple updates the screens or lowers the price (they probably wont), you could be fine buying a Macbook now. The new I core cpus don't get much better battery life, besides the performance there would likely be no difference. So if you don't play the most cutting edge video games or are into heavy video encoding or something, it might not be worth it to wait it out. The only thing that is iffy is that they might drop their prices on SSDs.

If Apple fails to refresh the MBP by the end of this month. I will be forced to shell out the extra $$ for Vaio Z
-
Vaio Z.. Signature one cost $4500 ish... wow ... but it's a beast with GPS, Verizon wifi, Blu-ray and etc...

-
Meh.. seems like no update tomorrow.. no news so far..
-
Before making uninformed replies to posts. "You" should do the proper research on the topic of discussion. I currently own 3 Vaio's my favorite being the TT which was $3,100. And yes mother im in the market for a new notebook. enough said
I love the MBP, I just wish we could see i5,i7. No pun intended to apple lovers. -
-
best laptop for me now is either precision m6500 with rgbled screen or maybe upcoming new mbp
will see if mbp can hold up against rgb led screen -
meh.. no refresh if it's this late already...
Microcenter has the based 13" MBP for $999.99 now. -
eeeks! I am so close to buying the MBP it's scary! uggh!
but now I'm thinking a refresh must be imminent if they're lowering the price?? -
3 words .. NO ONE KNOWS !!!.

Id wait. I assume the new ones will be something like switchable graphics i5, with something like a 5670, or gts360. Seriously, it's about time they stop selling the 9600's.....(2 generations old, if you count the 3xxm series)
Should I get this MBP to hold me over until the refresh this fall?
