Yea, u can't run it out of the box, but u need to install XP/vista. But it's easy as ABC.

And XP/vista runs really well in bootcamp.

Hey I would definitely recommend the mbp, a great piece of kit, however, make sure you don't stretch yourself fiscally in trying to get it. There are other laptops which are capable of running OS X but none do it as well as the MBP for obvious reasons.

I love my MBP and may never go back to a windows notebook ever again but I'd question the need or wisdom in buying a mbp to only run windows. Why not buy a windows notebook like a Vaio or an HP?

And by dual boot, did you mean you wanted to dual boot XP and Vista, or Windows (XP or Vista) and OSX? AFAIK, the former cannot be done.

And one other little thing, I'm not sure if you can tap-click, two-finger-tap right click or two finger scroll with the trackpad in windows on a MB/P. These are important things IMO to be able to do in a windows environment.

If you're expecting to have Windows pre-installed with your MBP then you'll be disappointed. But if you have a Windows CD already, then it'll be beautifully simple to get it 'bootcamped'.

The funny thing about this is many people are saying that Macbooks run Windows better than most if not all current PCs! Here's one example I googled:

    Hope that helps
