I like your sound on the guitar. The piano playing however, fails

 

lol that was a mouse piano hehehe i made it up as i went along nothing was rehearsed or practiced - improvised !! hard to play piano on a mouse hahhahaa.

 

I have to figure out a proper way to record my piano playing, if I can I'll post it .

 

That would be great O i am still learning how to plug my guitar to the Garage band it seems to record very faintly - is there a way to fix the mic gain?

What kind of input are you using for the guitar? Any amp?

 

i use pod x3 with updated firmware however i am having problem with mic in gain level. Mac os mic gain level is hard to figure out i dont know how to adjust it.

Well, have you tried adjusting the input level from System Prefs > Sound?

I'm not familiar with the Pod, sorry.. Wish I could help you on that one..
Also, your guitar, it has an active pick-up, right? Crank it up all the way maybe?

The stuff you hear, like the small bossa-nova I did is just how I practice. I sequence everything from percussion, bass lines to guitars on my piano.
It's all made for the sake of practicing, no releases.

I saw on the other thread, we have quite the musicians on board here. Sax & Drums players, you with the guitar, myself with the piano and sequencing, maybe we can spice something up?

 

Yeah the NBR band but i feel ashamed because i am a noob on guitar haaha.

I'll give it a go though.

And yeah, I love having a Mac and not being worried about Windows BSoD-ing when I export/bounce 30gigs+ projects!

 

I'll play piano, if I can find a decent audio interface for my Macbook at a good price .

I recorded it just off the MacBook mic, I don't have anything better at the moment. Played on my Yamaha Clavinova piano, yes, tyronne, completely improvised along the way . Some 1-second pauses while I plan how to continue the piece .

It may sound familiar due to the key I played this piece in, lots of Top 40 songs use similar keys and chords. I tried to emulate a Top 40 view, hope you guys liked it!
