    That Apple announces any new products etc? I am specifically interested in a MBP refresh of some sort.

    Yes it is normally Tuesdays that Apple releases new products. However if it is a silent refresh there may not really be an announcement.

    Yes, usually Apple updates its hardware on Tuesdays. Most updates don't get some special press event, and are announced just by a website update.
