Really cool plugin that lets your backlit keys as well as your display backlight if you so choose (not recommended by me) to flicker to music

"Imagine your MacBook Pro or PowerBook keyboard backlight shining as feedback for your typing.
Each keypress triggers an instant flash under your fingers.
A light glow while you hold the shift key."
This youtube video shows you the iSpaZz![]()
Enjoy, I personally really like the keyspazz

I don't use the MacBook Pro so there's no backlit keys for me to play around with
.
But thanks for this thread though, DeepShadows. Its appreciated that you took the time to find them for the MacBook Pro users.

IAlertu has always interested me though. Although I don't anticipate theft (who does) and take reasonable precautions to deter it, I'm strongly inclined to have some sort of recovery plan just in case (beyond insurance).
On the other hand, iAlertU isn't as well-advertised as LoJack for PCs for example, and it's hard finding testimonials of people who use it (other than from the site's own advertisements), so I'm not sure if I feel comfortable letting my laptop check in with some company (with said company being able to wipe my HDD at any time). More info about the program would help too - i.e. how closely do they work with official authorities, the recovery rate and %, does the program stay within the EFI even after a HDD wipe (like how LoJack stays with the BIOS in certain PCs), etc.
Some Sweet goodies, noobies & oldies
