Hey, so I installed Vista on my macbook using bootcamp, updated stuff, used the drivers in the Mac OS X cd, but whenever I try to do question mark, or the other symbols like brackets, it turns out like this : é, ç, ^, à, etc.

All...french like... I dont know what to do... can anyone help!

try going to regional and language options, keyboards and languages tab and then changing the keyboard layout.

Are you using the US keyboard layout? There's no reason it should show those characters if the keyboard layout is set to US.

painass - there was a similar thread about this recently. Is your friend using Leopard? If so, have him update to 10.5.1, which should fix the problem. If not, then I cannot help you any further.

    no, he still uses Tiger.

the keyboard is somehow..need more pressure from fingers and must be precisely on the middle of the keyboard button..
I don't know how to describe it briefly, but he/I can't do fast typing because my finger must right in the center of the button and with more pressure on it.

painass - Maybe you can call Apple, or go to a genius bar in a local store, and ask for the keyboard to be replaced.
