Well we didnt see any updated from Apple other than iPad... So how long do you think it will take Apple to put an i series processor in their macbook pro's lineup ?
I mean form factor is the same as HP envy 15 and those run i5 and i7 (second gen envy 15 have no heat issues at all) So when will apple finally update its outdated products?

I think Apple is like keeping the flow going. The hype:

    1. [JAN 27] iPad introduced
    2. [FEB 9] Aperture 3
    3. [FEB 14] Valentine event
    4. [FEB 19-22] Macbook Pro?
    5. [FEB 19-22] Macbook Air?
    6. [APR 8] iPad launch?
    7. [APR - JUN] iPad crazyness up till September 2010
    8. [JUN 9] iPhone 4G (5 Megapixel Camera)
    9. [SEP 9] iPod Touch 4th Generation (3.2 Megapixel Camera?)
    10. [OCT 9] Macbook series ++ minor upgrades + more CPU/GPU/HDD options

    I'm just guessing....

There is one thing Apple always launch new product or refresh between the date 4-9... so Those FEB 19-22 maybe in the Mar 8-9... or maybe no new macbook at all xD

    When they release it.

There's a 100+ page forum post over on the macrumors site with speculation from here to eternity.

i say not for another 6 months, but they're gonna drop the apple website every Tuesday for 3 hours or so *JUST* to drive everyone waiting nuts ;)

Lol. If they did launch their i series notebooks, it'd be called "iCore5/7" Haha.. Get it?
I just had to put that comment in.

a gpu refresh is also long overdue but after after the nvidia heat fiasco, i doubt we'll be seeing nvidia gpu's that soon. I think we'll get new ati chips along with the new iseries cpu's.

Do you think Apple still want to have some DX11 support even OSX doesn't really need it beside bootcamp to run Windows 7 taking advantage with DX11 framework for game developers? Not talking about using Macbook to play games intensively.
