I am sorry to ask again, but the deal I was going to get died and I had to look HARD to find another one...
The new one is:
Pristine MBP 15" (Mid-2010)
i7 2.66 Ghz
4 GB Ram
Anti-Glare Hi-Res Screen
AppleCare until June 2013
500 GB
I think it is a good deal because AppleCare is around 300... and I am paying 1700 for this. So 1400 for the macbook pro... am I right? I am sorry for wasting your guys' time, but if you could help me, I would really appreciate it. This is in Canadian dollars by the way.

UNLESS the AG Hi-Res screen is a big deal for you... -

$1700 is a little high. Apple Care does increase the value of a computer, but not by the full purchase price. You can buy a brand new MBP with a student discount for $1700, and then buy Apple Care down the road once your wallet recovers. Keep in mind you'd also be covered until 2014.
If the HR AG is that important to you, the Apple refurb store carries 2010 MBPs, I believe the Core i5 2.4 HR AG is $1399. Apple Care is like $240 from B&H Photo or from the Apple Store if you're a student, so: $1400 + $240 = $1640. Then ad whatever tax you pay and you're likely close to that used offer, except you'd be covered under warranty until 2014, and would have essentially "new" equipment coming from Apple directly. The difference between the i5 processor and the i7 on that model is miniscule.
I would either offer less, or go the refurb route. -
Sorry again... another help thread...
