    Speck Ultra thin case for MBA

    Just saw this case for MBA looks cool - anyone use it and can comment ? does it make it run hotter as it could reduce heat loss ? Does it stay on or get loose at clips ? Looks nice and complements the sleek style of MBA

    While plastic is not going to conduct heat as well from the aluminum shell, it won't make a large difference under routine use unless you stress the unit @ high cpu usage which is going to run it hotter. MBA might run a touch warmer than without the case, but not enough to be detrimental over long term.

    I have this case...and I love it on my MBA 13". The only issue is the bottom snap on piece now after 10 months has started to break at the tabs holding it on.

    I contacted the company and they are going to replace it for free.
