    Hello everybody,

I have just ordered a Mac Book Pro with the HDD upgraded (from 500 GB at 5400 rpm to 500 GB at 7200 rpm). My question is, when I finally get the Laptop, how can I make sure that is is the right HDD?

    Thank you.

Click on the Apple on the menubar > About this Mac > More Info > System Profiler > Serial-ATA > Rotational Rate

    or

Finder > Apps > Utilities > System Profiler

    It should say 7200.

Excellent, thank you very much for your help. This will be my first Mac. By the way, at the Store they told me that any MAC ordered since Aug 26 will have SL already installed
