    Hi everyone,
I added my MacHD drive to the private list under spotlight to block indexing. I do this for any external drive I connect to my Mac, since I dont use Spotlight at all. Besides, I dont want to increase the wear on my Intel SSD by letting Spotlight index everything while I am not searching for any of those things...
I am planning to get a 2TB Time Capsule soon, and I am planning to add the Time Capsule drive to private tab under Spotlight as well. Will this interfere with the Time Machine backups in any way? I guess I wont be able to search for a specific file/folder in the backup folders, but I never do that anyways.
I also saw some terminal commands to "disable" spotlight all together. Would that create any problems for Time Machine and/or Time Capsule?
    Thanks in advance!
