I highly doubt it'll be half as exciting as say a widescreen iPod with the iPohone UI, but we can dream![]()
-
It's for developers, so don't expect much in the way of exciting consumer launches. Maybe an iMac, highly doubtful you'll get an iPod, unless it's going to be the iPhone without a phone and be opened to developers.

Now let the excitement begin. -
Watching with great curiosity!
-
Within the first 10 minutes i've got 4 spaces filled.
I rock at bingo. -
When will he reveal new stuffffffffff
-
He is right now, the desktop is changing. -
wow, stacks look good. Not really anything revolutionary, but, in the best Apple tradition, it seems to be done the right way...
-
-
Hey Nicholie in the other forum you said that you brought your macbook pro with angry and etc....You don't like your mbp? Because I'm really considering buying the exact same model as you
-
I meant it jokingly... kinda.. -
Ok they are rehashing a lot of stuff now. The last 2 features better be good.
-
Edit:: He's an hour in, the presentation was to be an hour and a half, only 1 remaining feature to show. What's he gonna do with the time I wonder?
ONE MORE THING :: Safari on Windows. -
Are they really selling versions of Leopard already? Or is that for attendees only?
I want one!
EDIT; NM...beta -
-
They're going to use Safari to take over the world!
What are the actual developers going to think about the Safari-iPhone? -
iPhone 3rd party apps through AJAX? Are you kidding? What a slap in the face of developers! How can iPhone compete without real 3rd party apps?
-
Safari is a good choice of the next app Apple can move to windows. Being a web browser it something everyone does, but its not "killer app" that would cut from the reasons to buy a Mac. Smart move.
-
the best part about the keynote is the new little additions in Leopard, it is those little things that make such a big difference in an OS
-
Apple has demo's of the new features available on there website.
Video's in quicktime of course.

"We've got a basic version that will cost $129, we've got a Premium Version which will cost $129..." laughter and applause. "We've got a business version! $129. Ultimate version! We're throwing everything into it, it's $129."
I luv this the most! M$ should really learn this from apple. -
Safari 3 for windows is not to bad at all, cool, haha.
-
and it might actually be faster than Firefox?????? really??? haha
-
-
I think I will be switching to Safari now; Firefox is great, but its a memory hog...
I like the EA games for Mac. I wonder what the system reqs will be for NFS Carbon; if its not bad I might buy a PowerBook G4. -
EA - well C&C3 will be a nice bonus.
I like how Blizzard always releases both Windows and Mac versions..and even simultaneously!
Safari requires admin access to install...Firefox didn't...
Blehcan't install it at work.
-
the maximized view is a little buggy, putting the cursor all the way to the top right there is a wierd little issue, and it won't let you go all the way to the top right and click to exit, you actually have to click directly on the exit, but that isn't a big issue. -
Yeah, i just tested it, Safari uses more RAM than FF and is horrible towards the low RAM PC that i m running now. I wonder if you run it with a 64bits cpu, it ll be more efficient.
-
Did they update it for OS X as well, or just Windows?
-
^^^yep, Safari 3 for os x and windows.
I am all for it using as much ram as it needs, if it is faster I am perfectly happy using more ram, and it is still a beta, with a very good bug reporting feature. -
Something I thought of when I saw Phil Schiller wearing the iChat Steve Ballmer effect....
Is making Jobs and Gates look good part of Schiller and Ballmer's job? -
I thought the announcement about EA and ID was exciting.
